Scouts are ready to embrace adventure and we strive to equip them with the skills, ability and confidence to safely do so. Working towards a structured programme of Activity and Challenge Badges, our Scouts enjoy plenty of practical outdoor adventure. Cooking on trangia stoves or altar fires; learning map reading and enjoying varied hiking and orienteering challenges; pioneering; first aid; shooting and archery; Survival Camps and summer camps; climbing; kayaking, sailing; Bushcraft and much, much more!
Young people - boys and girls - can join Scouts from 10 ½ years – 14 years old. Our Scout have two Troop meets on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening, both from 7pm – 8.30pm at Redwood Centre, Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 3DN.
Within the Troop. Scouts are divided into smaller groups called ‘Patrols’. We encourage them to work together to ‘Do Their Best’, making friends, having fun and growing in confidence and skill as they do so.
