Beavers is all about fun, friendships and adventure! Whether it’s shelter building in the woods; going on minibeast hunts; enjoying ‘sausage sizzles’; learning new games; trying science experiments or meeting people in the local community, the emphasis is on ‘learning by doing’ and having fun!
Activities are based around the Beaver Scout Badge programme, which includes exploring the outdoors; enjoying adventure; developing new skills; learning about our local community and the wider world; working as a team; and developing confidence and taking responsibility as an individual.
Boys and girls from 5 ¾ up to 8 years old can join Beavers. Our thriving Beaver Colony meets on Tuesday evenings, 5.45pm – 7pm at Redwood Centre, Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 3DN. There’s a maximum of 24 children in the Colony at any one time and we currently hold a waiting list.
